Band Members: My original songs are featured here, but most are not performed live. What originals I do perform are with Mum'z the Word! Check out www.myspace.com/mumzthe1word for more info and some original songs we perform. Songs featured here are demos recorded by my good friends/great musicians; Mark Dennison-guitar, Howie Lucero-drums, Kenny Levine-piano. These and more are part of my upcoming book and CDs "Slow Rain". I will be posting info regarding the book on this site.

Influences: See my blog
Sounds Like: So...now when I sing, people tell me I sound like Norah Jones. Sometimes they say Billy Holiday. Sometimes they say Dinah Washington, which is certainly a great compliment! When I sing country, they say I sound like Loretta Lynn or Lee Ann Womak. I have been told I sound like Janis when I rock it out with the dirty blues! So, who knows? I just want to be me. When younger I may have tried to emmulate Ronstadt or some other singer, but now, at 50 years old, I feel like I sing like me. Maybe you could pick out a hint of some of these influences, though, when you hear me sing. I would be curious to hear what you had to say!
