I hear them saying "You'll never change things" & "No matter what you do it's still the same thing" Well it's not the world that I am changing. I do this so the world will know it will not change me.
One of my greatest interests is making the world a little better than I found it. People tell me all the time that I am wasting my time. That I can't make a difference. But I am reminded of the story of a man who awoke early one day on his vacation so he took a walk along the beach. Up ahead he saw a young girl picking something up and throwing it in the ocean. As he walked closer he saw her do this over and over. When he was close enough to her he saw she was picking up starfish. "Honey," he said, "there are thousands of starfish on this beach, they get washed up with the tide. You can't make a difference, it's nature." The little girl bent over and picked up a starfish and tossed it into the ocean. "Made a difference to that one." she said.
If I touch just one life, I've made a difference. You'll never convince me otherwise.
Past the seeker as he prayed came the crippled and the beggar and the beaten. And seeing them...he cried, "Great God, how is it that a loving creator can see such things and yet do nothing about them?"...God said, "I did do something. I made you."

As we grow up, we learn that even the one person that wasn't supposed to ever let you down probably will. You will have your heart broken probably more than once and it's harder every time. You'll break hearts too, so remember how it felt when yours was broken. You'll fight with your best friend. You'll blame a new love for things an old one did. You'll cry because time is passing too fast, and you'll eventually lose someone you love. So take too many pictures, laugh too much, and love like you've never been hurt because every sixty seconds you spend upset is a minute of happiness you'll never get back. Don't be afraid that your life will end, be afraid that it will never begin.
Your Seduction Style: Red Hot Fantasy Lover
You know that ideal love that each of us dreams of from childhood? That's you!
Not because you posses all of the ideal characteristics, but because you are a savvy shape shifter. You have the uncanny ability to detect someone's particular fantasy... and make it you.
You inspire each person to be an idealist and passionate, and you make each moment memorable. Even a simple coffee date with you can be the most romantic moment of someone's life. By giving your date exactly what he or she desires, you quickly become the ideal lover.
Your abilities to make dreams come true is so strong, that you are often the love of many people's lives. Your ex's (and even people you have simply met or been friends with) long to be yours. No doubt you are the one others have dreamed of...your biggest challenge is finding YOUR dream lover.

Sometimes when I'm alone
I cry because I'm on my own
All the tears I cry are bitter and warm
They flow with life, and take no form
Ah the world moves fast
and it would rather pass you on by
than to stop and see what makes you cry
It's painful, so sad, sometimes I cry
But no one really cares..
to ask why, why, why
Well I cry because my heart is torn
I find it hard to carry on
And if I had an ear to confide in
I would cry amongst my treasured friends
but who do you know that stops that long
to help another carry on
Ah the world moves fast
and it would rather pass you on by
than to stop and see what makes you cry
It's painful, so sad, sometimes I cry
And no one really cares..
to ask why, why, why

Listening Is An Act Of Love
Passionate
You're a very intimate lover who makes love rather than just has sex. You can't get going unless you are head over heels in love with the person you're with. For this, your lovemaking is very intense, producing multiple orgasms for both you and your mate. You are very tender and emotional when it comes to sex and are often praised for how good you can make it. It's very easy for you to feed off of what your mate wants and you never have a problem giving it to them.
First of all, My Dad, Donnie Ray Sturgill. He worked (and I mean worked) so hard that I thought we were rich when in fact we were not. I wish he had learned to kick back and relax some more, so maybe he would still be here with us.
But the biggest HERO in my life is my Mom. Paula (Russell) Sturgill Byrd. You know, she's the lady who taught me how to tie my shoes, and read, and kissed my boo-boos, and held my hand when I was afraid. She cleaned my vomit when I was sick. She stayed up late at night to make sure I made it home okay, she came and got me when I couldn't make it home. She tought me wrong from right and that no one can make you do anything that you know is wrong. But mostly, she is my HERO because she did it all without ever letting on that she herself was sick or tired. She faces her life, one troubling illness and disappointemnt after another, with grace and love and kindness and tenderness. She welcomed my friends into our home, when other parents would have kicked them out. She made them feel welcome to the point they didn't want to leave. And she did it all while others whispered that she wasn't my "real" mom {I was adopted}. Mom, it doesn't get any more REAL than you! YOU ARE MY HERO. I wish I could take the cancer for you! You are so much more brave than I could ever be!!! You have worked harder and longer for this family than anyone else would have ever done. You delivered firewood and newspapers, sold flowers, babysat, you name it, you've done it to keep your family together. Your work will not be unnoticed. One day, many years from now, the Lord will look at you and say, "Well done, My Good and Loyal Servant." I love you so much, mom.
Memory I Miss The Most:
My mom and dad, sitting in their old restored antique car, mom as close as she could get to dad, kissing as he got out to go to work.
