Love. I Will Never Abandone You.....

About Me

I have a rough around the edges exterior....but I strive to be compassionate, accepting, forgiving, loving, gentle, kind, patient, and humble. I love and care about people in general. I value friendships. I'm very serious when it comes to friends, family, and in situations where I have to make decisions concerning life.I have the most amazing fiancee in the world. She's far more than my fiancee...she's my best friend. She has taught me so much about myself and about love. She's proven to me that God does have our lives in His hands and that He really does want to give us the desires of our hearts. She's proof of answered prayer. I pray that I never lose sight of this beautiful gift that God has blessed my life with. I love you baby...you mean the world to me. You've made me the happiest man in the world by saying "Yes."The most important aspect of my life is my relationship with Christ. I try everyday to live a life that closely resembles that of Jesus Christ and I desire an intimacy with Him. Everyday I try to die to myself...that Christ might live and love through me. Being a "Christian" does not mean that I am perfect by any means. In fact, I make far more than my share of mistakes. There are still times when I have doubts. There's times when I'm scared. There are times when I feel like my relationship with God is a piece of shit. There are times when I wonder if He's abandoned me. There are times when God feels a million miles away. There are times when I feel hopeless. It's in these kinds of time; wherein I recognize my need for Grace. I simply stumble right back into His arms. I rely on Grace as my guide back to God's loving embrace; and He's taken me back everytime.I thank Christ for making the ultimate sacrifice to give all of us such Grace. In spite of the fact that we don't deserve it....He bore the burden of our sins, suffered, and died simply because He loves us. It is my daily desire and prayer to never be judgemental or condemning...but to show and to share with the world the unconditional love and grace that I've found in Christ.I so desperately seek a life of grasping how wide and how deep and how long and how high is the love of Christ.God's grace is sufficient, His love is unconditional, and His peace is beyond any circumstance or situation.

My Interests

I'm a pretty common guy. A little bit country and a little bit rock and roll. I am a man of Faith; yet I am not religious. I'm a strict Constitutionalist. I am a Liberal Conservative. I am a proud American; yet I am often ashamed of American government.I love the outdoors. I'm one of those people who absolutely can't stand being indoors for very long. I love the smell of the air right before it rains. I like to feel the sun on my skin. I like the crisp, clean feel of Fall sweeping in. I like to catch snow flakes on my tongue. Yeah; I kinda like the outdoors.I love the lake...fishing is fun. I like sitting on the bank with my fiancee' and my little brother and throwin' my line out in hopes of catching something a little bigger than a perch. Doesn't happen very often though. It's still alot of fun though.I'm pro-gun. I believe in responsible gun ownership. OBAMA...please don't take my guns. Shooting my Glock pistols is definitely one of my favorite things to do. You've gotta love getting gun powder in your nostrils and shooting the 10 spot out of a target. My fiancee' would probably say that it's one of my most expensive hobbies; I'd say it's one of my passions. Plus....$32.00 for a box of ammo ain't that bad!!I love the white beaches of Destin, Florida. My life-long ambition is to be a beach bum!I kinda like tattoos.I have an obsession with black T-shirts! Wearing black is my tribute to Johnny Cash. When I find time; I like to write a little poetry. Putting my inner-most thoughts and emotions to paper is one of my passions.Music is definitely one of my passions as well.

I'd like to meet:

I would like to meet people who are searching. People who are searching for the greater meaning of life. I would like to meet people who are passionate about a real and loving Jesus Christ. I would like to meet people who are extenders of grace. People who love the unloved. People who realize they are not called to judge anyone, but they are called to simply love people unconditionally. I want to meet people who are not "religious", but have an amazing love for Christ and His true message; a message of grace, hope, and love! I want to meet people who have a strong compassion for the poor and the homeless, the hurting and the dying. People who are defenders of basic human rights. People who are willing to serve the sick and hungry. People who are willing to just take time to really care about those who are less fortunate. I find many times, we become so wrapped up i our own lives; that we simpy forget those who have very little or nothing. I want to meet people who are passionate about life and have a loving heart. I would like to meet people who enjoy the smaller things in life, like the colors of the sky in view of an ocean sunset, the intensity of the atmosphere in a thunderstorm, the radiance of the sun beating down on your skin on a summer day. People who are not into the materialistic aspects of life. I want to meet people who realize that just because you may not have what people consider the "finer things" in life......it makes you no less human than anyone else.-"I command you to love each other in the same way that I love you. And here is how to measure it--the greatest love is shown when people lay down their lives for their friends." (John 15:12-13)-"For you have been called to live in freedom--not freedom to satisfy your sinful nature, but freedom to serve one another in love. For the whole law can be summed up in this one command: "Love your neighbor as yourself." (Galatians 5:13-14)-"Dear children, let us stop just saying we love each other; let us really show it by our actions. It is by our actions that we know we are living in the truth, so we will be confident when we stand before the Lord, even if our hearts condemn us. For God is greater than our hearts, and he knows everything. (1 John 3:18-20)-"So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other. Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples." (John 13:34-35)-"Most important of all, continue to show deep love for each other, for love covers a multitude of sins." (1 Peter 4:8)-"And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from His love. Death can't, and life can't. The angels can't, and the demons can't. Our fears for today, our worries about tomorrow, and even the powers of hell can't keep God's love away. Whether we are high above the sky or in the deepest ocean, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Romans 8:38-39)

Movies:

Religion is a false perception of holiness that focuses on law and kills the true message of Christ. Jesus had much to say about the religious who put the law before his true message.“…How terrible it will be for you experts of religious law! For you crush people beneath impossible religious demands, and you never lift a finger to ease the burden.” Luke 11:46“How terrible it will be for you teachers of religious law and you Pharisees. Hypocrites! For you are careful to tithe even the tiniest part of your income, but you ignore the important things of the law- justice, mercy, and faith. You should tithe, yes, but you should not leave undone the most important things. Blind Guides! You strain your water so you won’t accidentally swallow a gnat; then you swallow a camel.” Matthew 23:23-24Jesus came and declared that the most important law was “You must love the Lord with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind; and love your neighbor as yourself.” (Matthew 22:37.39) Religion ignores the reasons behind this being the most important commandment and only focuses on the exterior and works as a way to get close to God. It is religion that not only kills the true message of hope Christ taught but also has held back the lost from understanding the true meaning of Christianity. Television:

||Why use the word ‘bastards’ you may ask? Webster’s defines the word as “an illegitimate child”. For too long some of us have acted outside of our true nature as loving, compassionate children of Christ and people are calling us on our bluff. Just recently I had someone come up to me who wanted nothing to do with Christianity and said all he ever wanted was an apology. By making this simple apology and through using this term, we show a desire for change. We cannot go on pretending that others haven’t been hurt by the institution labeled as “the church”. In issuing an apology, we are truly sorry for what people have gone through in the name of Christianity.||Revolution - NYC-CLICK HERE TO VIEW THE REVOLUTION DOCUMENTARY-

Heroes:

"To be alive is to be broken. And to be broken is to stand in need of grace. Honesty keeps us in touch with our neediness and the truth that we are saved sinners. There is a beautiful transparency to honest disciples who never wear a false face and do not pretend to be anything but who they are." - Brennan Manning "I have three things I'd like to say today. First, while you were sleeping last night, 30,000 kids died of starvation or diseases related to malnutrition. Second, most of you don't give a shit. What's worse is that you're more upset with the fact that I said "shit" than the fact that 30,000 kids died last night." - Tony Campolo "A religion true to its nature must also be concerned about man's social condition. Any religion that professes to be concerned with the souls of men and is not concerned with the slums that damn them, the economic conditions that strangle them, and the social conditions that cripple them, is a dry-as-dust religion."- Martin Luther King Jr. AIM = zerotonothinginc Yahoo Messenger = [email protected]
