Kimberly "Janal" Taylor is a Chicago born artist. She was raised in Maywood, IL. She has been singing since a very young age. Janal recalls singing solos in front of huge church audiences at the age of 4 years old. She would sing her favorite song "Jesus loves me". Music has always been something that was very dear to her. At the age of 8 years old she took piano lessons. She also has taken formal voice training for several years. While in High School, she was active in her school's Accapella Chorus. Janal was also very active in her school's Gospel Choir. At the age of 17, she recorded with a local Chicago Community Choir. She has gone on to sing with several other recording choirs. Gospel will always be her roots and her first love. Many have asked the question if she regrets singing RB verses Gospel. Her response is " God is love". "I feel that there is nothing more beautiful or reflective of God, than a love a man and woman have for each other". "That's the kind of love I am singing about". Over time she has ventured into the field of writing songs. One of her songs she is most proud of writing is "I've been waiting". This song will soon be featured on this site. The song that is featured now, " The One", is an isound exclusive. All the backrounds you hear on the song "The One" was done by Janal herself. She has plans to shop for a recording deal. Janal is also going to indendently sell her own singles. Overall, Janal aspires to share the gift of song that God as bestowed upon her to the world.
