Essentially, we're a bunch of superheroes. Our top-secret powers are matched by none. We specialize in purposelessly throwing frosties at Wendy's staff, trying to get women to crash into us, being stalked by random passersby, and most importantly, saying things twice. Yes, twice.
Cadmium was started a few years ago, originally with the name Nostalgia, by old friends Johan and Josh. They had been playing music separately for some time, and eventually decided it would be a swelltacular idea for them to start a band (since that's what amateurs do). They solicited the aid of two other friends on bass and drums, who stuck with them for a while. They decided that the name Nostalgia didn't really fit, as it sounded more like a band of aged old men playing oldies. They decided to switch to the name Elementary Watson.
After a while, their drummer left and was replaced by another friend. At this time, however, they found out that Elementary Watson was already another band's name so they decided to switch again. This time the name chosen was [gag] Humanopolis. Their bassist was replaced by Johan's brother, Anton. Around the time that drummer left, they changed their name again to their current name. Their new drummer, Taylor, joined and the band continued writing originals and growing together. Cadmium's goal is to create music that is different, catchy, and interesting. Anyway, enjoy the music.
