About Me

I am a person with a spiritual focus. I mix paganism with buddhism, christianity and a basics sense of the spiritual. I also observe a certain level of native practices in honor of my native heritage, Wampanoag and Micmac. I am not religious. There is a big difference. However, I like to learn new things about any religions. It facinates me. I am a Reiki Master/Teacher, Seikhem, Johrei Practitioner with an empathic/clairsentient sensitivity.

I had back surgery, on 3/20/06, for a ruptured disc that was pressing on my sciatic nerve so bad that I was having a difficult time walking. They had to go in and remove the protruding piece. Now that I'm recouped from the surgery, I get an ache in my lower back, that needs massages, but other than that, I'm coming along and don't limp anymore unless my back is really tired. Plus, I have a 5 inch war wound to moon people with. :) lol ;)

I love hiking and expoloring new places. I love the ocean and swimming. I like to paint. I like biking as well but it needs to be fixed. I like to read and go to movies. I am a Heavy List Fighter in the Society for Creative Anachronism. Heavy list means I fight sword and shield, two sword and just learning great sword. Plus, I am soon to be learning the Ballista and Combat Archery.

Someone who's baggage(everyone has baggage) compliments mine and who's soul is the flip side of my coin. Someone big and strong, yet gentle and kind.

I'm very eclectic when it comes to music. Depending on what kind of mood I'm in determines what I'll be listening to. My CD collection has the following: Evanescence, Loreena McKinnett, Enya, Sarah McLaughlin, Laura Brannigan, Jewel, Madonna, Annie Lennox, Sting, Celine Dion, Michelle Branch, David Bowie, Bob Marley, Meatloaf, Jimmy Buffett, GooGoo Dolls, Classical, Middle Eastern(for Belly Dancing), and sooo much more....

Movies:

Love "Harry Potter", "Lord of the Rings", "Blade", "King Arthur", "Under the Tuscan Sun", "Daredevil", "Spiderman (both)", "The Mummy (both)" and... Anything that Gerard Buttler, Harrison Ford, Russell Wong, John Cusack and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson are in. Ohhh... can't forget Vin Diesel. Love his Riddick and XXX character's.

Television:

Liked Buffy and Angel. Love Crocodile Hunter, CSI the original, all of the Law and Orders, Crossing Jordan, Las Vegas and I love the new show, Medium.
