LET THE MUSIC DO THE TALKING!

About Me

The Beginning
By 1997 at the age of 14 Silent Source had music unwaveringly instilled in his thoughts and started experimenting with any vinyls he could get his hands on, whether it was from his latest pocket money purchase or from raiding his brothers record collection.
Intro
This early stage soon progressed when he formed a crew with other eager music souls consisting of DJs and MCs. They were known as The Darkus Crew and gained a momentous response from their unique style playing alternative types of music that set them at a distance from the usual suspects. Darkus Crew hosted a show on a local pirate station, Temptation FM 102.4. Although the station mainly attracted a Garage and Hip Hop audience, Silent Source still had his pulse ardently set within the Drum'n'bass monarchy and made an impressive impact on the audience and studio crew with his influential DnB set.
Feeling the Beat
In order to progress and convey his inner creativity he began producing music that could be incorporated within his sets. Whilst at these early stages poor engineering were evident in the produced tracks, there was no doubt that the series of vibes were steering through strong. He began dynamically refining his production and improving the overall tracks to achieve the sound he eagerly anticipated.
Feeling the Bass
At this stage D-Code joined rites with ShivaSoundSystem and started appearing at their monthly Herbal night. Silent Source alongside DJ'ing at Herbal contributed with remix work for other producers. He seized the opportunity to add to the first remix for underground group Visionary Underground. The track was called "Eye of the Storm" and the amazing vocal hooks that made the track energetic, soulful, charismatic and meaningful instantly drew in Silent Source and D-Code. This was the first track that the duo completed and was successfully released. The remix track went on to do particularly well and was supported by Keaton as well as various Radio 1 DJs.
Dropping into a toxic dance hall frenzy
Following the Eye of the Storm success Silent Source and D-Code continued to work together. After countless fervent late night sessions in the studio the destined outcome of the duo became evident. The two bounced off each others vibe and created an unparalleled collection of masterworks. Another remarkable opportunity arose when they were invited to do a remix for the infamous Asian Dub Foundation for their track "Round up". Silent Source and D-Code were sure not to disappoint and delivered a flawless epic intro, a break down with a twist, and finally dropping into a toxic dance hall frenzy!!! The track got played and rewound at Glastonbury and received massive support from Asian Dub Foundation, and Radio 1s ultimate Bobby Friction and Nihal.
Continuing the eternal flow
Silent Source now DJs at the established successful ShivaSoundSystem nights at Herbal, Vibe bar and other venues around the U.K. He has gained recognition as an individual DJ who undeniably knows how to rock the crowds. His creative music style tells a story of its own whether its with his own production, track selections or his versatile mixing mode. With a selection of home made DUBS and exclusives from producers such as Sparfunk, D-Code, Shivasoundsystem in addition to his own tracks Silent Source is well on his way to the pinnacle of the music industry as an exhilarating DJ/Producer.
Taken from the title of his latest mix CD he has two words for you: "Times Up"!!!
