About Me

No, it's about you. It's about your future in the music industry. The reality is that in the music industry talent and creativity alone don't necessarily spell success. In a global economy where business decisions are dominated by majors companies, independent Small and Medium Size Enterprises (SME's) are in need of better representation among the decision makers. I want to be your voice on the key industry boards and committees where keys decision are been made, in order to reflect diverse interests, aspirations and needs of SME's in the UK music industry.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

I'd like to meet like-minded people, like you, who are out there working it (DIY style) and trying to make it in the music industry. I entered the industry over 20 years ago working in publicity, marketing, label management and artist management but must predominantly in Music Publishing. In the beginning it was making tea and licking stamps and now I'm a Director of Westbury Music Ltd, a Board Director of The Music Publishers Association and a Trustee for the PRS Foundation. With the experience gained, my objective is to help government bodies and music business associations to be innovative, reaching and engaging with SME's in the industry and creating real opportunities for business growth and success.I can only be an effective voice and make a difference if I hear from you. Your views and opinions on major issues in the industry are very important. Talk to me and other friends about the latest developments and new opportunities in the industry. This will help me to identify common themes of current and emerging concerns and trends from people who have their fingers on the pulse of the music industry.
