I'm a single dad of an 12 year-old daughter and a 5 year-old son and they are the most important people onthis planet to me.
I have many interests, but without a doubt my main interest and passion is music. Specifically, 70s & 80sclassic Hard Rock & Heavy Metal. As my profile headline states, I am an Old School Rocker to the core.
Most all of my tastes & sensibilities come straight from the 70s & 80s. Hell, I still even have my longhair!
Not living in the past, but I gotta admit there's not a whole lot of things from the 90's and 2000's thatI really like.....one exception would be The Internet.
I like what I like, regardless of how old it is, or how popular it currently is, or if it's trendy or not,etc... I refuse to follow the "trend of the month", and I usually can't stand people who do.
As far as my free time goes, my favorite things to do usually revolve around live music....whether it'sseeing a concert, or checking out one of the local bands at a bar with my friends, or practicing the drums(which I'm trying to get better at).
My other interests include: lifting weights/working out (I hit the gym about 3 or 4 times a week),traveling (which I don't get to do enough of), the beach (my trips to San Diego or Rocky Point are some ofthe best times of the year), camping (it's getting harder & harder to find people who want to gocamping....I even like winter camping), fishing (I'm a fish killer from way back), hanging at the bar withmy friends, the Internet, collecting/downloading bootleg concert audio & video from bands that I like(I've got stacks & stacks of this stuff), and following our local Phoenix sports teams. Many interests,but usually not enough time or money to pursue them all....
