BombStress is a local femcee out of Watsonville, Ca. Writing lyrics and poetry for more than a decade and MCing for the past 8 years. Became a professional performing artist in 2004. BombStress is a mixed breed of Brown Queen steming from Mexican, Hawaiian, Chinese and Japanese roots. BombStress also belongs to Bomb Productions, Rawdiculous Ent. and DobaDoza. BombStress started out as a singer performing for small gatherings and venues. Eventually being exposed to the Hip Hop world, BombStress evolved from a primortial creature to an intellectual speaker. BombStress represents all that is feminine positivity in Hip Hop. She travels up and down California with her crew, DobaDoza, performing for everything from La Pena events for the Brown Berets, Anti War Prostests and local bar shows. The only femcee in a sea of vile and sovanistic male rappers and DJs, BombStress is an aggressive natureed woman trying to come up in a man's world. She will not be defeated when her lyrical hooks are as powerful as her right hooks. Trained professionally in Hip Hop Dance, she is now an assistant teacher for a local community college hip hop dance class and was the former teacher of a hip hop culture class in Watsonville designed for youth between the ages of 14 to 22. She has acted professionally in several events and theatrical groups out of the Santa Cruz County area. She does it all...she's BombStress.
DobaDoza is an all female revolutionary hip hop crew made up of brown queens from up and down California. Members of DobaDoza include Patricia Poston, aka The Poetic Stimulator of Orange County, Ca. A spoken word poet. Jhoanna Galves, aka Peklat from Los Angeles, Ca. A spoken word poet/songstress. Shannon Burton, aka Shanita from all over the world. An Army brat, Shanita has lived verywhere form her birth state of Virgina to North Korea. And of cousre the BombStress.
