About Me

RIP LeRoi. You will be missed.
Background and family: I grew up outside of Rochester, NY, although I come from a big Italian family from Long Island and am proud to be the tallest female at 5 feet! I have a wonderful family, including my amazing boyfriend (Harlan), the most precious kitties in the world (Isabella and Sophia), my awesome brother Tim, my brother Mike and his wonderful family, my beautiful mom and her husband Dave.
Where I am now: Stuck in Missouri getting my PhD in Glass Science, which I never intend to use. I just want to finish up so I can go into the Peace Corps and start volunteer work, and then eventually a family.
Where I want to be: In NY. I miss Alfred...
Other things I miss: Family, friends, Wegmans, good cheese, a good coffee shop, being surrounded by art and culture, seeing a vast array of unique people, driving among people who understand the rules of the road, environmentally conscious people.
What I'm looking forward to: Growing and learning more about myself, experiencing new things/people, spending each waking day with my wonderful boyfriend, finishing this last chapter of formal education and starting my "real world" education.
I'm not sure if I will ever pursue or succeed at engineering, but I plan to be very successful at life...
"To laugh often and love much... to appreciate beauty, to find the best in others, to give one's self... this is to have succeeded." ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson

Which House Character Are You?
You are Dr. Allison Cameron. People may think you're too pretty to take you seriously, but behind it all you have a mind like a steel trap. You know what you want and you go after it, no matter what. And it looks like what you want is a juicy House sandwich. The good news is you're smarter than people think you are.
