Led by frontman Daniel Hart, described by their ex - keyboard player James Eckhardt as an '...acrobatic poet of rock...' they were formed when Hart was spotted by promoter Ron Carmel, on the set of BBC sitcom, 'Love Soup' playing a youthful Bob Dylan. Carmel was in agreement with it's writer David Renwick, who also penned BBC smash, ‘One Foot In The Grave’, that Hart's perfomance, (featured on the VIDEO page), was 'just uncanny'. But Hart didn't want to spend the rest of his career emulating Dylan, so Carmel hooked him up with North London producer, Joe Public, and they began work on the 'Love Review E.P.'
Drummer, Janith Perera and Bassist, David Baker, were spotted by Carmel, at a record launch at The Cobden Club and Baker brought in his mate Ben Jenkins on guitar leaving Hart free to roam. Hart's childhood friend, Max Ryz completed the setup on piano/keyboard.
Carmel who spent some time as a club singer in the 70's, enjoyed a short burst of musical activity with the boys, on the track 'Girlz!' but due to the excessive amount of fags he smokes, found it difficult to sustain his perfomance for anything longer then a verse and a chorus. Now Carmel operates purely behind the scenes, but his vocals can be heard on the track 'Girlz!' and there are rumours of a comeback.
