The official home of "The A.C.C", Greensboro, NC, is the stomping ground and birthplace of three lyrical geniuses; Tech, Rush, & E~Murk, followed by Tone Pone, the illest man to ever touch a beat machine.While all members of The A.C.C knew each other as kids and growing up, this music journey began in the halls of Ben L Smith High School in 1996. As young teens, they've already had their feet wet with music; from competing in talent shows, playing drums at church, & bathroom studios, they knew this was their destiny. While freestyle battles in the school's courtyard were merely just for fun, you could tell this was a passion that each member shared.After leaving high school in 2000, with plenty of notebooks & papers filled with preeminant 16's & superlative hooks; Tech, Rush, & E made it official, and decided they would travel this road together to bless the world with their natural talent thus giving you "The A.C.C" (meaning, Arrogant, Cocky, & Conceited), a name suitable; not for their personalities; but for the confidence they posses about their music.In 2002, after two years of hard work and persistence, The A.C.C hit the streets of Greensboro to sell and promote their debut album, "Big City, Small Towns". With hits like "Some like it", "Gotta Be", and the hometown anthem "Greensboro", The A.C.C became a buzz around the city. Selling over 50,000 units, out the trunk and in stores, the group became a hometown sensation.With the big success of their debut album, it opened up doors for other projects & artist. With many guest appearances on other local artists tracks, such as Celinski, Brandon D, and many others, all group members starred in movies from "Innocent" with r&b sensation "Alyze Elyze" to "House Arrest" (coming in June 2009), they were still able to produce other hit albums, "Play to Win" "Young Hustlers" and the latest street banger "The Foundation", all the while bringing other talented rappers to the forefront with A-Team Enterprises.With the most recent success with promoting, A-Team Presents: "The Foundation" & upcoming film "House Arrest", rest assured this is not the last you will hear of E~Murk, Rush, Tech, & Tone.
