About Me

THE FUTURE (POST VIRAL):
Working on it... Be patient...
THE PAST (LAST PARADIGM):
2004, four individuals got together with the intention of forming an original rock band, however the guitarist Dave Houghton had the opportunity to move to Canada which left - at the start of 2005 - Jamie Scott, Neil Warren and James Allen to form the nucleus of "Last Paradigm". At this time rehearsals started in earnest working on songs that Jamie had started to pen.
Although playing guitar in rehearsals the intention was for Jamie to eventually play bass when a guitarist was found. A few six-stringers came and went untill a certain Edward Jones appeared on the scene.
With many set-backs due to all manner of unforseen circumstances 2006 came and went. During this period of time Jamie had met Tim Peers on another musical project formed from the ashes of local band "Tempered Elf", this musical project failed but the vocal talents of Tim was considered by "Last Paradigm" and the 2007 line-up was born.
2007 saw the band's debut gig at "Lock and Load's" Battle Of The Bands, held at The Zen Nightclub, Great Yarmouth where they eventually reached the semi-finals...
After more gigs throughout the year and early 2008, playing venues in Lowestoft, Great Yarmouth and Norwich, "Last Paradigm" began looking to the future and delivering the music to a wider audience. Tim introduced Dale Sellars - formerly the guitarist of "Hollow Point" - to the rest of the band, such was the impact that it was decided that "Last Paradigm" would take a break from live performances and concentrate on the new sound that the now six-man line-up would produce. With two guitarists, two vocalists, bass and drums, the scene was set to re-launch "Last Paradigm".
The six-man onslaught was released upon an unsuspecting audience both in Norwich and in Lowestoft, this was recieved well, and the six became five when Dale injured his playing arm at work, putting the band a man down for the quater-final of The Brewery Tap's Battle of the Bands.
A series of gigs in Lowestoft, Great Yarmouth and a headliner in Loddon, the band took a break to sort out matters outside of the band.

Sounds Like: "if Pink Floyd and old skool Iron Maiden got together this is what they would sound like, great guitar work, a little shouting, soaring vocal melodies, what more could you ask for?"
"Last Paradigm are a new group that can not be pigeon holed... they do original music that takes you by surprise every time you hear them"
