Influences: I coined my CD as, "an old age recipe which contains natural organic ingredients of love relations, baked with the new age heat of sensuality that has produced a good blend, one that will bear fruit from old roots." So, keeping that in mind... the old school has definitely influenced every part of who I am as an artist, the likes of Natalie Cole, Stacey Lattisaw, Denise Williams, Minnie Riperton, Diana Ross, Patti LaBelle, Chaka Kahn, Debarge, Earth Wind and Fire, and the list can go on and on... HOWEVER, my first love is GOSPEL... "the true roots"! Gospel artists such as Vanessa Bell-Armstrong, CeCe Winans, and Milton Brunson to name a few... and to round out all of my influences, I must pay respect to the "yound old-head" artists such as Mary J. Blige, Miki Howard, Faith Evans, Mariah Carey, Tamia, Jill Scott, and Whitney Houston. I would say this is a good blend of several roots that has helped to produce a very unique fruit (in a good way)... ME!!!! lol...lol...lol... :-)
