I like all kinds of music, however I have been mostly listening to metal since 1988.
I've been playing with computers since the early '80s which led me to getting my Associates Degree in Computer Information Systems and a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science.
I'm also the guy that did all of the programming for the game Fallen Heroes by A&B Entertainment. Fallen Heroes won the best Strategy/Logic game of the year at the Shareware Industry Conference in 1997 and was included in the October 1997 issue of Computer Gaming World.
Unfortunately for me A&B Entertainment fell through two years later and I found out the hard way that computer programmers are like a dime a dozen in Metro Phoenix. At that time I ended up turning my fascination with computers nack into a hobby which ironically is how it all began. Later I started to play around with HTML and PHP coding by hand which has led me to help some bands in the Phoenix metal scene and eventually into a job in web development.
I am currently the webmaster for the following bands:
-
12 Ton Sledge
Perpetual Death Mode
-
Bulldog Productions AZ
KOAMA
-
Talk To Sheep (Set up a temporary website for them while their manager at the time was at NAMM. Some of the PHP code I wrote is still in use at the site their current webmaster had set up for them!)
Tolerant (I was their webmaster back in 2005.)
Vehemence (I was John's go-to guy if he had any questions he needed answered when they had their website up and running.)
Why Webmaster Mike / Metal Mike? It's because Scott and Joe from 12 Ton Sledge used Webmaster Mike for my name when they programmed my phone number in their mobile phones and Tom from Bulldog Productions AZ used Metal Mike for his mobile phone!
Remember, 666 is just a number! Numbers haven't done anything to harm you...
