:::::in a musician::::: There are so many answers to such a simple question.First and foremost, If you cant at least sing background vocals, you havent a chance of making the cut. I work with players that are skilled in different styles and that seems to add an eclectic element of suprise to the gig. My main styles are punk,blues,classic rock but i love metal, p=funk and r&b as well i need to meet a bass player and drummer so i can start a new band. I have about 40 songs that i havent recorded yet and i think there will be some money to be made in that arena.and of couse i have plenty of songs that i have been doing live since i wrote them. a skilled keyboard player would also give me a lot of freedom to explore on guitar so it would be nice to meet one of you as well. I haven't any adverse thoughts about relocating to a larger city in a warmer climate as i am tired of shoveling snow.
