About Me

Ok here goes...Hi and Welcome to my myspace page. My name is Nicky, but I am known on the net at tweeters. Cause I love tweety bird I just think he is way too cute, as you might be able to tell by looking at my site.
I was born in Bangor, Maine, USA in 1977 and have lived in this area most of my life, except for the few years I lived in the Norwich, Connecticut area. I graduated from Bangor High School Class of 1995. Got married to my high school sweetheart in April 1996. And we started a family right away having our first child in 1997 and our second in 1999. So I guess you could say I was a wife and mom of two with a pretty happy life until Dec.31,2006 when my world came crashing down. This was the day my husband of almost 11 years decided to tell me that he was maddly in love with someone else, a person I thought to be one of my best friends(guess I was WRONG), and he couldn't no longer live without her. With friends like that I guess I don't need enemies huh? As you might imagine this came as a HUGE blow. Even though I have never believed it I guess when people say love is blind it truely is. The more I think about things I guess it was all for the best. If something like this could happen so easily I guess he wasn't as happy as he pretended to be all those years. I truely believe in my quote, so maybe he never was mine to begin with. I deserve better then that and so do my kids. I deserve someone that is going to love me, only me and no one else, for no other reason then because I complete them.
So for now I am a single mom of 2 on a bus drivers paycheck, which as you can imagine isn't easy but things seem to be working out ok for the three of us for right now. And I know that somewhere out there my Mr. Right is waiting and hopefully looking for me. My true friends and my family have been a god send in helping me get through things. They have been there to help every step of the way.
I have suffered from depression alot over the past 7 or 8 years and even though I am no longer on medication for it I still have some days that are really hard, even more so now(gee I can't figure out why...can you?). So when I have time and the kids are sleeping or at school I love being on my computer it is my alone time... My time away from the stresses of my life to meet new people and relax (it seems to help in dealing with things makes them seem not so bad as least for a little while). When I am not talking to anyone I am usually off playing a game, or paying a bill. I have always loved computers even before the internet came along and now they are even better. Being able to meet and talk to people from all over is great! I am always looking for someone interesting to talk to. I love learning and trying new things. I also like spending time with my kids when they aren't driving me crazy...lol.

My Interests

Playing on my computer, Chatting with people I meet online, Watching tv or movies, spending time with my family and my true friends, swimming, traveling, cooking(when I am in the mood), and trying new things. I also enjoy collecting pics of my kids (my walls are wallpapered with portraits...lol), I like cute pics of TWEETY(in case you couldn't tell...lol). I also enjoy spending quality time with people I love.(Talking, cuddling, connecting)

Music:

All different kinds of music. Anything from Classic Country to modern country, some Oldies and alot of 80's rock... even heavy metal and rap sometimes. I have even started listening to SOME of the stuff my kids listen to,which I use to say I would never listen to,(but I gave it a chance and found it isn't all bad...it grows on you I guess...lol...). I am pretty easy to please when it comes to music I will listen to just about anything except for classical music.

Movies:

Mostly true stories... Lifetime... Comedies... but there are some Action movies that are good too.... Oh and who doesn't love Disney movies when you are a Mom
As with music I am pretty easy to please. I will watch just about anything except Horror movies.

Television:

Law & Order(orig., SVU, and CI too i guess), Nash Bridges, Golden Girls, Charmed, CSI(orig is the best but i watch the others too), NCIS, Crossing Jordan, Las Vegas, and even some Walker Texas Ranger isn't bad, Monk, Psych Detectives, House and Fear Factor(sometimes)... Oh and we can't forget everyones favorites SOAPS!....Young & Restless, Bold & Beautiful, As the World Turns, and last but not least Guiding Light. When I get a chance which isn't very often anymore.

Books:

Not much of a Reader anymore ... Never seem to have the time anymore..... Oh well!
