My name is Odinn. I play some music. I like music. Tis nice.
I like to think I get by with my music knowledge, although I'm not always so up on today's bands. I like watching films, enjoy being creative and making stuff and also just being with friends, being in a happy environment.
I'm in my last year of college and will be going to uni next year. Hopefully. I enjoy thinking and musing, trying to find answers to thing, and I like learning. My interests of learning range from philosophy, psychology, music, films, bit of science and just general things really. It's important to me to be able to be smart. Socrates once said it was a key element to living a good life.
I'm inspired by many things every day. The sun, the grass, my friends, my thoughts, plays I see, people on the street, people I have conversations with. It's also very important to keep a spark of creativity alive in you. I like to write things, although I'm not good at it, but at least it keeps my ideas from not existing.
I'm Icelandic, and I always visit there, my whole family lives there. It's a most beautiful place. The warm breezy summers with its endless sun and the angelic dark winters with what can be a sunset for hours. It's an inspiration and it makes me very pleased to be able to say that I come from there. w00t.
I play in an acoustic folk indie duo with my friend Joe, we're called the Dataun Martyrs and we write all kinds of songs. I wirte seperately form him as well, music on the computer and on my guitar.
There's a lot of things in the world that I've learnt, and there are times where I hope I never learnt it. That sounds quite pretentious and patronising, I'm sorry. But I have no doubt that most of you will feel the same, I'm just saying because I'm sure you'll understand what I mean, but I hope you'll also understand that it's better to know what we're dealing with than to curl up and be ignorant of it.
It's also important to remember that although this world is a dark, disturbing and very horrible place, it's so very beautiful, there's so much for us to see and so very little time. It's special no matter how you see it.
Anywho enough of this banter. Should you want to talk to me about anything, I'm always around and I'd be happy to. Whether you know me at all or not, not that bothered really.
