This musical collective has undergone many changes since its conception as an instrumental trio around 2001. After welcoming the current drummer, the band swaped two different keyboard players in 3 years. In 2007 they were joined by a DJ and are now a quintet.
In october 2006 Intimn Frizurn (Intimate Haircuts) released their debut album »Kokos Kokos Presenta«. Eleven songs and two short inserts sum up the first creative years of the band. Their early music varies from circus-punk, to ska-disco-rock-balkan rhytms and melodies, from trip-hop ballads, to an arhytmical psycho stew, from psychadelic oddeseys to an easy going dub or a pop song.
Intimn Frizurn are a band that try to stand out from the crowd, surprise you at the next corner and stimulate your sences one way or the other. Wether it be on their records or live. Considering a good number of positive critics they seem to be good at it.Glasbeni kolektiv Intimn Frizurn, ki se je osnoval okoli leta 2001, po instrumentalnih izlivih prvotnega tria, po prihodu novega bobnarja, po menjavi dveh klaviaturistov in prihodu DJ-a, danes steje pet clanov. Oktobra 2006 so v samozalozbi (Kokos Kokos) izdali svoj glasbeni prvenec »Kokos Kokos Presenta«. Enajst skladb in dva kratka inserta na omenjenem prvencu povzemajo zacetna leta ustvarjanja Intimn Frizurn.
Glasba na njem varira od cirkuskega punka, do ska-disco-rock-balkanskih ritmov in melodij, trip-hopovskih rock balad, aritmicnih psiho mesanic, jesenskih pop pesmi, psihadelicnih odisejad, in umirjenega dub-a.
Intimn Frizurn se trudijo biti zasedba, ki izstopa in preseneca in drazi zivcne koncice tako ali drugace. Najsi bo to na posnetkih ali na odru. Sodec po nemalem stevilu pozitivnih kritik, jim ne gre tako slabo od rok.
