I'm Michael Russell aka Michael Maniaci. Grew up in Jersey and moved to Tulsa a few years back (I still wonder why). I owned a small sound company called Proline Audio Rentals up until selling it here recently. I'm currently the FOH engineer for She Wants Revenge and Fair to Midland. I am also looking to network for other tours. I've been a live sound engineer for over 15 years now and have been keeping busy for the last two years as the FOH guy for The Hero Factor as well as working for other local regional and national acts. Acts such as The Hero Factor, Umbrellas, Colourmusic, Kunek, Radiant, Soular, MWK, and Gooding are some of the local/regional indie acts that I work with on a pretty regular basis or recently as well as working with some national acts (one offs) recently such as The Reverend Horton Heat, Jr Brown, The Black Crows, Maroon 5, Monte Montgomery, Mudvayne, The Cult, Modern English, Cowboy Mouth, Better than Ezera and Jacob Fred to name a few. I started doing sound when I played bass with my first band and branched out from there into owning my own sound company. I also worked as the house engineer in my earlier days at the Bricktown Brewery, VZD's and the Boarshead (no longer there) in OKC and had the sound install contract at Majestic here in Tulsa back when it was a cool live music venue. I spent two seasons working for TU as the live engineer for the TU mens basketball games but after the second year I was just too busy to keep doing that even though I enjoyed it. Recently I was able to help out with the new sound system install at the historic Cains Ballroom. I do freelance engineering (both FOH and monitor) for larger sound companies here in town and also do some touring. I've set up this account to do more networking with bands, large production companies, promoters and labels.
