What can I tell ya! Despite what some say I was born and raised in Crown Heights BKMy freshman year of HS I attended Bklyn Tech and majored in cutting school with a minor in playing spades. Subsequently I failed almost every class. I could say that I hung with the wrong crowd but Decepts did not make me cut school I rode solo on that. Enough was enough and I relocated to slower lower Delaware in a little town called Ellendale, Roughdale if ya nasty. I attended Sussex Tech and was a popular nerd- Go Figure!!!!

I liked to have fun but I hit the books hard. I was determined to get the HELL up out of DE after gradution. Who bases their decision on a college on a rap video-Thanks a freakin lot Lords of the Underground. Shaw made a soldier out of me and I came a long way from the days of hitch hicking, getting high, passing out on the yard from being drunk, hanging with Raleigh Locals in a damn crack house (I did not use crack that is not a social drug). I stayed on my grind and graduted on time with a BA in Psychology. Now I am ALUMNI of NYU school of Social Work, PLEASE put MSW behind my name or I might not respond LOLI have devoted my life to helping children either at work or during my personal time. Teaching in NYC public schools gave me a start but I wanted to have more of an impact beause teachers only see part of what children go through. I now work with children servcies in NYC as well as work with the youth at Antioch Baptist Church of Brooklyn. I recently embarked on a wonderful experiene that allowed me to give two weeks of my time to be a chaperone on a college tour sponsered by the Sean Carter Scholarship Foundation (You can see J's mom in some of my pics). It will become a yearly endevour as long as I am able to attend. I hope that this experience will give me the insight to open a recreation center in Crown Heights, my ultimate aspiration.I have started my before I am 30 list here is an idea of what is on itlearn and be fluent in another language learn how to swim learn ballroom dancing learn how to play pool go to Euroupe go to Africa
