Makeshift Magazine is a unique, contributor based publication that showcases new work from fresh local artists. Makeshift questions, entertains and puts a smile on your face.Makeshift offers new and up-and-coming writers, artists and designers the opportunity to be exposed to a new audience, and gives readers the opportunity to see what their community has to offer.
Makeshift is the editorial and design team of Eddie Dawn-McCurdy, Zena Kitson, Steven Lyons and Jessica George. Content is handpicked from contributors, who we consider to be New Zealand's most promising graphic designers, writers, photographers and illustrators, and other indefinable talent that is able to be printed on a page. Check out the pics section for a taste of what's to come.Email [email protected] for details on how to contribute, or check out the specs in our blog. Go on, you know you want to.
