You who travel with the wind, what weathervane shall direct your course?
What man's law shall bind you if you break your yoke but upon no man's prison door?
What laws shall you fear if you dance but stumble against no man's iron chains?
And who is he that shall bring you to judgment if you tear off your garment yet leave it in no man's path?
People of Orphalese, you can muffle the drum, and you can loosen the strings of the lyre, but who shall command the skylark not to sing?

I like to keep this thing updated, but I’m not very good at it. One thing that will never change is this—I am a child of God. I rely on his love and supplication to get me through each day and I’m trying my hardest to let that be enough for me.
As for the here and now, I’m a student at the University of South Carolina (GO GAMECOCKS!) and I’m working towards a major in International Business, with a double minor in French and Spanish. At this point, I’m hoping to work in Immigration reform. I definitely believe there needs to be change as soon as possible. I love foreign languages and I’ve also studied German and Italian. On campus, I stay involved in the Baptist Collegiate Ministry and I also help out with International Bible study, hanging out and building relationships with many of the international students. I’ve met so many amazing people through the international program at USC and it has touched my life in so many ways! I’m an ’07 grad of Fort Dorchester High School. In high school I played the tenor and alto sax and jazz has remained a big part of my life. I also enjoy obsessing over Josh Groban, Michael Bublé, Il Divo, Jason Mraz, The Working Title, etc… One of my passions is writing. One day maybe you’ll see me on the bestsellers list! (Until then, check out my blog.)
Other than that, I like shopping downtown (Chucktown, baby!) but the whole poor college kid thing kind of limits that. I freaking love the beach. I love foreign languages, foreign cultures, foreign food, and foreign boys. In the grocery store I eavesdrop on Hispanic people, just so I can hear them speak spanish. That about sums it up right there.
“When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: "Death has been swallowed up in victory." "Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?"The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.†-1 Corinthians 15:54-57
