About Me
======= dI Vinci ======= Meet dI Vinci (akaLunalilo dI Vinci; Reimhard, aka Luna, aka Di Vinci, aka Amos Forms, aka Aliuna). That's a lot of monikers, but a rose by any other name is still a rose, which we all know smells sweet. But it can't hold a candle to the sweet sounds of The Editors signature hip-hop stylings. ======= It's All in the Audio ======= Di Vinci packs emotional wallop into his smart amalgam of R&B, pop and more, expressed as a unified whole in the artist's self-dubbed "experimental hip-hop." But don't let that label scare you. dI Vinci music is as engaging and listenable as it is creative. The backbone of his music is comprised of cool grooves that are multi-purposed in terms of musical goals. Music can be used to dance, drive, make love or move the body and dI Vinci wants his tunes to serve as the soundtrack for all of it. Beautiful beats, delicious melodies, sensuous singing as backup and, of course, dI Vinci own supersmooth rhymes. ======= The dI Vinci Code ======= The mind behind what dI Vinci does is profoundly positive and life-embracing. While his hip-hop can be as assertive as it is sultry, there is always a feeling of hope and power. He pours his energy and emotions into his music and it, in turn, offers him soulful sustenance. It also offers its cornucopia of bright audio colors, sincerity, subtle strength and absorbing flow to hip-hop aficionados seeking something classic but zesty and cutting edge. ======= Who's to Hear? ======= Forget demographics and marketing. This is about soul and musical outreach. dI Vinci isn't targeting any one class of listener. His message is for the world. It doesn't matter what end of the social, political or entertainment spectrum one inhabits, dI Vinci is talking to you, no matter who you are. His desire is to push through artificial divisions and use music both as a means of musical gratification but also as a cultural unifier. By touching the ears and minds of many people and many different kinds of people, maybe he can demonstrate folks are more alike than different. dI Vincis hip-hop isn't about violence and separation, it's about overcoming, both personal and bey.. Don't Stop for a Minute ======= dI Vinci is always on the move. He is a founding member of the Surmen, a live hip-hop band that has already existed for five years and which has three albums under its belt. The Surmen have been noted by Rock On Colorado, a Denver music forum, as a group whose music possesses "great rhythm and rhyme skills." Besides the Surmen, Di Vinci is also a founder of R&B band GS3. ======= Touching Fame ======= dI Vinci's formidable talent as a hip-hop artist has already opened doors for him. He has the distinction of having recorded with Bizzy Bone (formerly of Bone Thugs N Harmony) and has had the honor of being mentored by Lon Van Eaton, an artist/producer who has been signed with The Beatles' famed Apple label and, more recently, A&M and who now runs Imagine a Better World, his own production company - truly a most desirable musical guide for dI Vinci. And the momentum doesn't stop. dI Vinci isn't happy if he isn't involved in one musical venture or another. He always has bigger and better in mind AND IS WORKING SOLO AS OF FEB. 2008. dI Vinci is Certified by The Los Angeles Recording Arts School, and is running Pro Tools HD, Nuendo,SSL, NEVE,Yamaha O2R, and Sony DMX Pro Consoles, as well as Music Business. By way of Denver, He resides in Hollywood California.
