Holy Moly

Life has taken me through so many twists & turns. Growing up, I always felt that I was the unluckiest and most unloved person alive. The question always in mind was "why me?" I still don't know the answer but I feel like everything happens for a reason. What ever is meant to happen, will happen no matter how hard you try to prevent it. One of my greatest challenges and fear stemming from my childhood, was learning to love someone. Then I met my soulmate who took my hand and helped me take baby steps into this world of which I could only fantasize about before. He taught me to trust, to believe, to hope, and to love wholeheartedly. I am so thankful that my husband came into my life. Now there's my stepchildren and my son who are my daily challenges but also the reason I live for. I always fear my childhood will affect me negatively in parenting, but I hope it will be the reason I am a better parent. To sum it all up, God has been good to me. Life is great. I still have a lot of unanswered questions, but hopefully one day, I can let go of the past and know what it feels like to be at peace with my heart. But for right now as a wise person once said..I'm gonna dance like no one is watching, love like I've never been hurt, sing like no one is listening, and live like it's heaven on earth.
