Dream Theater, Symphony X, Iron Maiden and Death (and Control Denied) also go in my top tier of bands. the rest i like in no particular order, except maybe alphabetical.

Lord of the Rings, Matrix, Super Trooopers, Southpark movie, HALF BAKED!!! lol o and Baseketball. Also Minority Report, which i just saw. Troy, Kung Pow!! (Enter the Fist), Braveheart, the Patriot, Schindler's List, Dogma, Jay and Silent Bob Strikes Back, Robin Hood: Men in Tights, pretty much anything funny or epic.

Books:
I used to read a shitload, don't have much time anymore (fuckin flatbush high school), but my favorites now are anything by Ayn Rand or Joseph Heller. I guess my favorit ebook is Atlas Shrugged, then The Fountainhead, then Anthem, then We the Living (lol the ayn rand fictions.) I also read and loved a nonfiction of hers, The Virtue of Selfishness. My favorite thing by Joseph Heller is of course catch-22, followed by God Knows, Closing Time, Something Happened, and Picture This. I loved Arthur Miller's The Crucible, I love Sophocles's Oedipus plays, i love Macbeth and Hamlet. I love hte Iliad, and hte Oddyssey is pretty good i guess (lol.) I liked Inferno and Paradiso, but Purgatorio can suck my balls... the Divine Comedy is good in small doses only, Dante is too long winded for me. I loved Paradise Lost, and Paradise regained was phenomenal when i could udnerstand it. i'm sure i could think of a lot more favorites of mine if i tried, but i figure if i have to think much about it then i must not love them all that much. lol as an afterthought, i'd like to make it known that anything by Dan Brown (including the sainted Da Vinci Code) isn't well written enough to merit my pissing on it. O and I forgot about John Kennedy Toole's A Confederacy of Dunces, one of the funniest books ever.
