About Me

My name is Gavin. I am tall with big hair. I have a large collection of striped clothing in various forms. I also enjoy the occasional suit jacket. I am currently obsessed with learning piano. I also play guitar, which is enjoyable, although these days i regard it as less important. At weekends I live on a hill in Ayr, it has a nice garden. I used to enjoy going to fury's on thursdays. I live in Glasgow during the week, pursuing a career in music in some form. I am not able to study other subjects. I operate the checkouts at asda, which is brainless, and I earn a satisfactory amount of money every month. I originally went to kyle academy which i didn't enjoy all that much, mainly due to the number of rubbish people there. These days i mainly enjoy the occasional social outing, the music, and over-analysing everything.

Books:

ROOTS! Spent about 2 years trying to finish lord of rings, like hunter s thompson. George Orwell is lovely, 1984 being possibly my favourite book, though I also enjoyed the other ones, animal farm and down and out in Paris and London. Catcher in the rye was a bit "meh". Life of Pi was a heartwarming tale, thought it was real until I read the blurb about halfway through, gutted when I caught sight of the word fiction, gutted.

Heroes:

Nick Drake for acoustic guitar. Rachmaninoff and Chopin in equal measure for piano. Thom Yorke for writing songs and singing.
