With front man Anthony Hatcher Johnson (Black-Cherokee Ant Hatch for short) this unique band have laid waste to all venues, leaving their fans gasping for air, but screaming for more.
"The Original African Indianz" have played such gigs as "The Queen Elizabeth hall with "The Crass Collective & The English Philharmonic Orchestra (Now on DVD), "The Festival Of Flight" in aid of Anti-Slavery International alongside "Nitin Sawney, Faithless & The Asian Dub Foundation (Also on The Festival of Flight 3 cd collection), as well as 56 Walker Place in New York Citys village with Spazecraft & Graham Haynes Trumpeter, son of Roy Haynes (showing in the new video from the Indianz 'Down Sout').
This is a large venue/Festival band mixing endless styles from hip-hop, jazz influenced material & deep roots to Heavy Rock, West African Percussion and classical music to name a few, all done with a passio unequaleds in this era...
