My name is Anna. My family nickname growing up is Nucha (which is more familiar to me than my birth name). Like all of us, I am still becoming who ever it is I am going to be. I am kind, considerate, and very caring. I am a lover of life, love, laughter, and nature. I am a loyal friend and passionate in my beliefs. I don't play games with people and I do not try to be anyone else other than myself. I am sort of a free Spirit who still has roots. I am very open-minded, but will always make my own decision and my own mind. I am honest and genuine. I am friendly and I like to meet new people. I am creative, intuitive, intelligent, artistic, thoughtful, and analytical. I am much more eloquent with words when writing than speaking. I can be silly sometimes, but it is all in good fun. It is good to be serious about certain things, but you can't take life too seriously. One of the things I wish I could improve on is my tendency to lose self-confidence at times. I am respectful of others feelings. I want to hear what you have to say and genuinely care. I am protective of those I love and I love a lot of people...so don't mess with that. I love to laugh and have new experiences. Generous in all ways even with affection (I love hugs). I love the outdoors and think that nature is the most beautiful art of all. I can be pretty self-critical and hard on myself. I put everyone else above myself, which most of the time leads me to being taken advantage of. I feel good when I am helping others or feel like I am making a difference. I love animals. I have a thing for owls (one of my two tattoos is of an owl in flight on my lower back). ~Yes, I liked them way before Harry Potter.
I am an artist, poet, and photographer. I love to draw, paint, and sculpt. I have also done ceramics and painted murals. I like to design and I love to write poetry, short stories, etc. You can read my poetry in my blogs on my artist page, which is the first friend on my top friends list. I read very often and love it (see the book section below). I have interest in Metaphysics as well. I love to have deep and intelligent conversations with like minds. I love nature and I try to be active in environmental and world issues as best as I can. I try to spread awareness about these issues and take an active role in using my voice for the things that matter to me. I love photography. I love to take photos, especially of simple things and everyday people so that people can see the world through my eyes. When you take a photograph you are freezing a moment in time and making a memory that is tangible and can be shared throughout time long after you are gone from this place. A photograph becomes art when you apply imagination and personal creativity to it. I currently shoot with a Canon EOS 30D. I also am currently building a webpage that will feature my many talents (grin) when available. Because of limited time it is coming along A LOT slower than I would like though, so please bare with me. I am very creative. I love to create something new and my hands are always doodling at something. I like variety and I like change, so my work can tend to be pretty random. I like to sing and dance. I enjoy Kickboxing and yoga. I also like to cook. I plan to teach myself how to play guitar. Music is a passion of mine. I am always trying to grow spiritually. I like to learn about culture and love to travel. I enjoy going to art galleries and museums. I love antiques and anything old with history. I like to write letters the old fashioned way, with parchment paper and sealing wax. Yes, I will sometimes even use a quill. Email is so convenient and trust me I take advantage of it fully, but hand-writing a note or letter seems more personal sometimes.

I value my family and friendships and treasure them. I am not easily offended, but my feelings do get hurt and I bleed just like anyone else. I don't give up on people easily. I try never to judge and do not like to be judged. I will give you my opinion, but never try to change you. I forgive easily, but I don't forget. I don't like when people jump to conclusions and make assumptions of a person without really getting to know them or communicating with them. Never think you have a person pegged by a first impression, for first impressions are not always correct. I also don't have very much tolerance for arrogance or self-importance...Get off your high horse before you get thrown. Mosquitoes absolutely love me, the feeling is NOT mutual. :)
