Missile Myles is arguably one of the soul men responsible for the breakbeat scene in South Africa. It was in 95 that Myles turned his dj skills from Alternative rock towards dance and started learning how to mix early nineties House music. It was in early 96 he heard the likes of Jon Carter and Chemical Brothers so breakbeat became his passion and has not looked back since! The Missile's sets are somewhat unique as he always gets you caught up in a frenzy of energy that leaves your body tired and your head spinning, simply desribed as feet stomping, leg breaking, run through da wall jamming!!!! In '98 Myles was chosen to mix the Legendary Club 206's 2nd mixed cd release distributed through Virgin/EMI South Africa. In that same year Myles was the first Dj in South Africa to mix Breakbeat live on National Radio on the "Mark Gillman show".
It does not stop there as he lended his production talents to various artists like Caytie Marvelis, Mandoza, T-kzee, Mood Phase 5 and recently collaborated with No. 1 South African Breaks producer Mpi project in their forthcoming release "fight for it" He then teamed up with french born music maestro Xuem to do the electro remix.
Missile Myles is currently based in Asia where you can find him dj'ing, promoting and educating the masses by introducing fresh new sounds.
