i'm a fairly blokey type of bloke, i like simple things...I love proper food, I love red wine, I love lager but it hates me, ditto absinthe, I love coffee, chocolate, I love Prague and France, I love my missus lady Caroline and my mental kids Laurie & Holly, I love quality people, I love my band Good cop bad cop, I love my telecaster, I love sad country songs, more-so I love sinister country songs, I love any music that has some kind of backbone.
However, I hate intolerance, idiots, violence, junk food and shite lager, I dont like pissed people when I'm straight, I hate posers, fakes, sycophants & liars. I detest any music with no soul of any genre, be it pre-fabricated pop or bad metal, I dont particularly like clubbing as most of the above are usually involved.
I hate modern politics and the way we are gravitating towards the mediocre, red, blue & yellow have simply become the new GREY. I hate the way every town is starting to look the same, with the same shitty stores on every high street, with retail parks neatly laid out next to huge supermarkets on the edge of town so everybody has to drive to get there. Worse still, the 'entertainment' parks where youth culture is neatly packaged into regulated forms for kids with no fucking imagination. You can go to the cinema or go bowling, eat a regulation lard-ass American meal of your choice, so long as it's burger, pizza or fried chicken. Then have some bad chemical beer in a pub that looks like a new doctors surgery. If you drink too much you can join in the obligatory midnight ruck that is carefully watched over by the conveniently placed meatwagon that will drop you at the cells to cool off.....phew, that got that off my chest then
