Henta , originally from the UK, is an accomplished singer/songwriter, performer, producer, recording artist, collaborator and library music writer. Her last album 'Daisy Dancing' was recently released in Seattle, consisting of dream-pop, electronic, rhythmical, melodical downtempo, ambient and acoustic songs with strong and sensual vocals. She also write lullabies for children (and adults!) and teaches pop tunes to children in schools.
'Daisy Dancing' recently made it onto the main Grammy Nominations 2008 selection list for 'best pop album' and Henta's vocal performance on 'so loved' from that album, made it into the 'best female vocal performance'.
"Nothing quite like' has been included in Free Lap Dances Vol 4: Benefit CD which is the fourth volume in an ongoing CD compilation series that generates money to house, feed, and find homes for wayward pets.
'Nothing quite like' also received an award in the Pop category of the UK Songwriting Contest 2008 which received over 6,200 entries.
'So Loved' from Daisy Dancing was placed in the Beat Marketing 'Hear it Here' Vol 36 distributed to 1200 cafes and coffee houses across the United States during September 2008

Henta is also now working alongside the very talented musician and sound/imagery master, Marcell Marias (www.myspace.com/hentaandmarias) to produce two original sets, Dance and Downtempo and they are playing presently playing gigs in and around Seattle.
