Katy, you can't be emo. Your hair's too light and happy. It's like...YAY LIFE!

About Me

I love to sing and act, and I also dabble in computer graphic design. I create things in Photoshop all the time, desktops, banners for message boards, etc. Some people know me as Katya, since that's what I go by on said message boards (EvThreads, FMB, Machina Board, etc.).
I also love music, and have been involved in music-related activities since I was very small. I had piano lessons when I was a midget (can't play much anymore, though *pout*), voice lessons for the past few years, have been a musical theatre wh0re for ten years (I also ran sound for my community theatre group for six years), and last April I traveled with BU's Symphonic Choir and Orchestra to Carnegie Hall. It made my LIFE (see my blog on it lol). I am into a lot of types of music, including rock, jazz, classical, pop (only if it's good :p), and symphonic metal.
I'm a self-proclaimed dork, as I love stuff like Renaissance-style bodices (corsets) and long skirts, talking about the finer points of music and such, discussing Latin and its influence on English words, and at the same time getting mah bootay shaking to music that I normally turn my nose up at (like most rap) ;) I'll talk about Shakespeare and theatre all day if you let me. Hehe. So you will take my d0rkiness and like it, because I'm comfortable with my quirks...most of the time. They're what make me remotely interesting ;)
I am a junior at Boston University, and I have a lot of pride in mah school. BU ROCKS! Don't mess with our Terriers. ;) And, in response to that generations-old joke...IT DOES NOT SUCK TO BU! It rocks and you know it, biznatches! hehe. :D
I'm also really bad at keeping this up-to-date (my blog in particular, haha). So...don't kill me, MySpace wh0res, when I finally add something new like a month too late. ;)
P.S. PIRATES NINJAS. Ninjas suck. Pirates win. We're cool, we can manage ships and rigging, we partay, we have sexah outfits, we kick ass with swords and the occasional rum bottle but can handle hand-to-hand combat, and...OH YEAH we get booty. WHAT DO NINJAS DO? Sit around in emo black and stalk people. SOME LIFE.
Pirates win. End of discussion. :D
I participated in the EvThreads Music Video - us fans from the board making total dorks of ourselves, rocking out/singing/whatever to Sweet Sacrifice :D View, rate and comment! It's hilarious!
