Name's Shawn and Im 32 years old. I was born, raised and continue to make the beautiful city of Vancouver British Columbia my home, and I feel very fortunate to live in a place with so much majestic natural beauty. Im an aspiring dj/producer/remixer who's currently stuck working in a warehouse right now with a crazy collection of oddballs that drive me mental from time to time (need to save some cash for new dj gear). My major influences are Sasha & John Digweed, Steve Lawler, Deep Dish, Danny Howells, Death In Vegas, The Chemical Brothers, Goldfrapp, Booka Shade, Misstress Barbara, Pink Floyd, UNKLE, Massive Attack, James Lavelle, DJ Shadow, Leftfield and a helluva lot more. At the moment though, I have nothing officially recorded ... but I do intend on putting something together before 2007 is over with. Aside from that ... Im a crazy, intense, moody, deep thinker who's quite comfortable in the dark ... yet Im also funloving, sarcastic, cocky, witty, romantic, and a dreamer of dreams which balances me out quite well. I have a strong, passionate love for the finer things in life ... yet rooted with modest sensibilities (guess I owe alot of that to how I was raised). I love reading and watching films and novels that either jump out and grab your attention immediately ... or make ya sit back and think. I love poetry in any form, and when inspired - I write poetry myself. Ive even written a few short stories about vampires that Ill put up on my blog as soon as I can find em. Aside from that ... I love hiking and going for long walks (esp: with a girl at my side), beautiful sunrises and sunsets, children laughing and playing, dragons or any mystical creature or artform, astrology, spirituality, ice hockey (street hockey is my all time fav - its a Canadian thing), and anything that inspires me. I also enjoy doing random things every once in a while to see if people are paying attention (publicly ... or in more subtle ways). Oh yeah ... dont forget to stop by and hang out with my wolf ... his name's Timber. Bit of a nutjob like myself ... but he won't bite yer arm off if ya try to feed him.
