Da Truth Brass Band Has been apart of the New Orleans Music Tradition for the last 3yrs.The group Started at a michoud garage with eight high school students( Travis Carter,Larry Brown,Corey Peyton,Kraig Dixon,Noel Freeman,Stanford Knighten,Julian Richards and Cedrick Jenkins.The group started playing privately booked gigs like weddings,birthday parties,etc.and went on playing at bars and nightclubs.Da Truth is one of the younger brass bands in New Orleans that strives on keeping the New Orleans Tradition alive and bringing the party city back by keeping everybody dancing to that second line Music.
