At first glance, Mear seems to be untouchable, but into a few sets one is exposed to the deed emotions that are conveyed though carefully layered tracks which bring feelings of euphoria amidst acid biffs, tweaked up samples, and heart pumping house beats. One cannot help but smile as your body naturally gyrates to a mixture of cutting edge Electro House, Tech House, Vocal House and all too familiar remixes of decades old dance hits. Make no mistake, there is something for everyone in her sets. “Playing to the people is my passion, when I see smiles and heads bobbing from wall to wall I feed off that positive vibe.” It definitely shows in her energetic mixes. Playing to the crowd comes naturally to Mear, who as a small child often ran the stereo at her parent's house parties; she discovered she had a talent for keeping the party goers dancing. The old school dance tunes she played laid the Foundation for the party style atmosphere her sets convey. At 19, Mear landed her first gig at a sports café, it was at that point that she knew her destiny. “I live, love, and breathe music… that will never change!”
