Bio
Lorne James is a late comer to Country Music, but we're betting you're glad he came. Raised in Rock n Roll culture like Kenny Rogers, he had some biases to overcome but has embraced country as one of the most satisfying genre's out there for writers, performers or fans.

"It's real and allows you you to get past childish rebellion and embrace your roots," he says.

Great lyrical statements are possible and they are right up his alley. Love for God, family and country are all in evidence, but don't take our word for it. Listen to the man!

And one more thing, he's here to expose his songs not just his performances. So if you're next country or crossover project needs some tunes, send us an email.

(The street is really just a little ole country lane but it makes us sound important.)

My Interests

Influences: Honky tonk players, singer songwriters, Outlaws, and mostly the women greats that got me listening, including Shania, Martina, Faith, Josie and the Judds. The groups, quartets, trios and duets that harmonized there way into my heart. The depths of Randy Travis to the grit of Travis Tritt. T. Graham Brown for Wine into Water. Johnny Cash and clan. Chet Atkins, Roy Clark and the old Hee Haw gang. The list is inspiring and endless.... to me anyway.
