Ben Grizzly and his AMAZING INVISIBLE BEAR

About Me

Born in Bath in 1978, now residing in rural Norfolk where much lyrical inspiration is gained, Ben Grizzly and his AMAZING INVISIBLE BEAR started writing songs in 1996 and performing in 2001 with songs from the Big Blue House (see background, it is big and blue), his debut album unavailable on invisible records.Formerly of the legendary Grunge band Bangas 'n' Mosh, Grizzly went on to perform with Lassie Music, Peanut Spread, Nigel Stereo, the Sad Towns, Florence and the Good Girls, Sunday Lunch, and Klunk (Norwich's finest Klezmer band that was). Now hailed as Norfolk's answer to Woody Guthrie, Grizzly sings songs of the land and it's people and has tickled many an ear with live performances and radio disappearances. He became the toast of the Poetry Cubicle evenings with his songs of the Fens and North Coast. He appeared alongside many other Norwich talents on the 2005 Howlbackhum release "STRICTLY SOLO" on the mummy where's the milkman? label. Word is that a Grizzly song will be included on the next "We're from Norwich" album OUT NOW!!!. Grizzly is also working on making the first two albums (Song's from the Big Blue House and Writing's on the Road) available in the not too distant future. Keep your ears peeled!Recent performances have seen Grizzly accompanied by the Loose Leaf Drifters for a full colour sound. To maintain loose leaf status, they never practice or know what they are going to play. Recruiting members of the audience is not uncommon.
