About Me

Hey! Welcome to my page :-P I'm Fighter and I'm a five year old Shiba Inu. I love to travel which is why I've lived on all three coasts of the U.S. I've hung out in Canada frequently when I was younger and I've driven cross country three times already! I've lived in the country in N.J. and I terrorized the local cows and sheep there :-P I loved living in New Orleans (Go NoLa!) and going to Audubon Park with my Mom everyday. I lived in Los Angeles and got to go hiking in the hills and swimming in Malibu! Now I'm livin it up in Houston, exploring the city and playing with my sister Pumpie, the cat. I also love to smell good...that's where those dryer sheets come in. I stole one from the laundry years ago and I was hooked ever since. Now my Momma gives them to me because she thinks it's cute and funny when I start rolling my body all over them. Let's see, I've tackled German Shepards and I'm a skilled escape artist too. We Shiba Inu's are fearless! I'm a fast runner, quick around the turns and no one can catch me... just try if you don't believe me. Seriously, you won't be able to :-P When I'm excited I get riled up and do my happy run - I tear up and down the hallways, running around each room until I run out of breath and get thirsty. I love to explore, which is why I run away every chance I get...there's a big world out there and I want to see it!

Books about me!!!The Adventures of Little Fighter is a wild tale that takes Fighter, a little Shiba Inu, across the United States. While out on his quest, Fighter learns about the US as he travels from state to state, meeting new friends in each book! Along the way, he has many adventures with humans and animals, teaching children about life’s lessons, nature, travel, US history & geography, as well as what to do during a natural disaster. This children's book series is important for children to read as it teaches them about the world, its people and their customs in a fun way. It develops children's vocabulary as there are footnotes with definitions for words at the bottom of each page. The protagonist is a little dog, emphasizing how being small should not hinder children in any way…it is actually an advantage! Each book is one bedtime story and the colorful pictures in it show the beauty that is this country. At the end of each book, Fighter experienced a new adventure, learned many new lessons and he winds down after an exciting day. He gets sleepy before succumbing to slumber…hopefully prompting the child reading to do so as well! The Adventures of Little Fighter is inspired by the most well traveled dog ever...our little Fighter.
