Bobby's parents divorced when he was 5 years old. At the age of 7 until he was grown, he was raised by his grandparents, Josh and Arvie Fletcher. Josh and Arvie adopted Bobby when he was 16 years old. His grandmother attended the Jesus Name Tabernacle in Micco, WV, where she was a very active member and brought Bobby up in the Pentecostal Faith.
In 1989 Bobby was hired by the Norfolk Southern Railway. He worked for N&S until he began surface mining as a heavy equipment operator in 1995 until present.August 5 1991, he married Tina Jones. Bobby & Tina now have four beautiful children . Their oldest daughter Kaeli (1993) who travels and sings with Bobby in his ministry. A son, Canaan, (1999) born on Bobby's birthday. Kerah Anjela, which they have nicknamed "Cushi"(2003) and the newest addition Cami (2006). They currently live in the Belfry, Ky area where they have resided since 1998.Bobby was raised in the church and started playing music and singing at the age of 12 but it wasn't until 1998 that he repented and dedicated his life to serving Jesus. The Lord called Bobby into the music ministry after he was saved and he began traveling on the field in December 1999.Bobby's desire is to make a career of singing gospel music but the most important thing to him is to see the lost come to Jesus. Bobby said, " If I can make a difference in someone's life through my testimony and music, then I believe that I have fulfilled my purpose in what God has called me to do.
