Along with my supplemental side jobs, I make a living playing the drums, professionally, in a country band every weekend in the Dallas / Ft. Worth area, and consider that to be a very important part of my life. I started playing the drums at the age of 8 in my home church. Shortly after, my family started a southern gospel group and I was traveling all over Oklahoma and parts of Texas playing in a wide variety of churches. Professionally, I have played for over 25 years. I was honered to receive the 2003 Terry Awards "Drummer Of The Year" award for the Dallas, Ft. Worth area.
Some of the words I would use to describe myself is: Laid back, down to earth, conservative, good hearted, honest, positive, health conscious, goofy, passionate about my music (I didn't say obsessed). Even though I play in clubs, please do not stereotype me as a "bad boy" musician. I don't drink, sleep around, or do any drugs, or even smoke. I am ONLY in the bar scene because that is part of the job. I despise drama, and tend to get as far away from it as possible. I have 3 kids that I adore. Lauren, 19. Ryan, 18. Tyler 16.
