I love boating, art festivals, oil painting, photography, music, making jewelry...crinkling my toes in the sand as I watch sunsets on the beach...music of all genres but rap...I like bbqs, cooking and entertaining, anything from beach bars to fine restaurants (as long as the food is good!)...watching my boy at his soccer games, and of course, making wonderful new friends or I wouldn't be here!

I really love to meet new people from all walks of life-I feel that though we're all the same in one way, we're also all so different, everyone I meet brings to me a new kind of friendship!AND I'M SURE HOPING SOME PEOPLE HERE ON MySPACE WILL BE INTERESTED IN NETWORKING WITH ME----Being self-employed, I enjoy wearing a variety of hats and would also like to meet people who could use my services!I'm an interior decorator, and just re-started that business. With many design classes behind me, I can help you make your home look as stunning as many designers, WITHOUT the high price tag! (That also goes for interior re-design and if you're selling your home, staging!) Also, I only take one client at a time, which is also a real bonus for you.I'm also a certified color counselor and can help you harness the power of the sun to make you feel healthier (we've all been living indoors far too long and are not getting that sun's energy that we need!)...and witha true understanding of how color affects you each day of your life, this business creates a great synergy when I combine my color knowledge to interiors.I'm building a website full of simply wonderful finds related to color and aromatherapy, for yourself, and for gifts you won't find anywhere else, so when it's finished, I will certainly let you know! Love making friends with people interested in natural living!I make custom jewelry, so if you have a special outfit and need a unique necklace, earrings, bracelet...contact me and let's put something special together, just for you!Last, but not least, I paint some really fun Jimmy Buffett bar signs! If you have a bar, let me know- even if you want a different kind of sign, I'll paint you something personalize and cool!
Classic rock is my mainstream, but I also like a little bit of pop ...reggae...jazz...country..new age...anything but rap. What I listen to always depends on what mood I'm in...which, during the day is always pretty upbeat, and in the evening, I do all I can to kick back and relaxxxxxx with soft tunes.
Oh, where to begin...I like anything from comedy to classics, especially Bogie. I especially enjoy dramas with some romance in the mix. But the other day, I happened to watch Babel on dvd- and it made me think of how fortunate we are...here we all are with our fancy cars and computers, televisions, apartments, condos or fancy homes, complaining about our lives, our politics, our economy...while there are places in which people live like in that movie...no clothes, no shoes, running from killers...I think of those people, and want to cry...how I wish I could cure the world.
I WAS glued to CSI and Law n Disorder for some time, but now that I've seen them all, so I'm watching the History Channel, Nature, the Travel Channel...always good. I catch NCIS these days...and I'll soon find something else mundane to watch, just to chill my mind at the end of my days, I'm sure. But...then again, if I get my acceptance into the Art Institute to finish up my design degree , I won't have time for ANY of that silly stuff!
I love a good murder mystery, especially Patricia Cornwell, satire like Carl Hiaasen and much, much more. I just finished Women Who Run With the Wolves- a book like no other, that has, and will continue to change my entire life. It is beyond doubt, the most powerful book I've ever read. It only took my 50 years to find it! Right now I'm reading Big Rock Candy Mountain, by Wallace Stegner. WOW what a FABULOUS writer he was!
Lance Armstrong!!! When I read his book, with the horrendous details of his treatment... while going through cancer myself, I realized that if HE could go through all he did (far worse than what I went thru,, though mine for sure was no breeze) *I* could certainly be a survivor as well! And guess what, here I am!!! Thanks for the inspiration, Lance!!!
