Here Comes The Dead

About Me

GROUND ZERO: the story so far, do not take internally

WHO?

The infamous owners of GZ’s average-size cocks are: DeZulian Hervè (synth), Lingua Gabriele (drums), Minolfi Andrea (bass and vocals), Bertone Thierry (guitars), Blengino Alessandro (guitars), Ravinale Cluadio (vocals, already singer of the melodic death metal act DISARMONIA MUNDI).

WHEN?

Brought back to life during a dark and stormy night in the late months of the year 2005 by 5 out of 6 members of the melodic death-metal band formerly known as Uziel (R.I.P. 1997-2001), this brand new abomination called Ground Zero has just released its first official promo foetus entitled "The ZERO Hour", recorded and produced into Ettore Rigotti’s dB Studios in May 2006. “The ZERO Hour” represents the band’s third studio experience (considering both the two early demos: “Waiting for a new Era” in 1998 and “Living Virtual Death” in 2000) and clears some aspects of their musical direction and complete lack of common sense at all.

WHERE?

The guild of undead stalkers collectively known as GZ hails from the north wastelands of Italy and dwells within their cursed home grave at www.groundzero-metal.net or haunts the realms of myspace at this location: www.myspace.com/gzmorgue .

WHAT?

GZ play "Spaghetti Heavy Metal" exclusively. With this brand the band sets their own definition for their almost unique style: a combination of both old school heavy metal riffs with catchy and modern keyboard tunes, feral extreme vocals with almost pop melodies, all supported by a groovy and pounding rhythm section. This melting pot of different musical backgrounds and influences is completed by lyrics dealing about GZ’s only reasons to exist: alcohol, porn stars (strong is the bound between GZ and some of the most famous porn stars like Anita Dark and Silvia Saint) and horror movies.

WHY?

As pioneers of this brand new wave of Italian modern heavy metal, GZ’s goal is to bring extreme music to a new level, melting together both aggression and melody into a new and fresh style. “The Zero Hour” represents the first step towards the development of their own musical path and an excellent excuse to perform the largest amount of gigs possible in every graveyard or whorehouse near you.

To be continued… or maybe not.
