No Commercial Value was formed in 1990 when Scott Sturgeon (aka Stza Crack) met Alec Baillie (Alec Shaheed Mohamed) at their public high school located in the lower east side of Manhattan and the pair combined with vocalist Olivia and drummer Mike. The band released a demo on casette tape consisting of eight tracks and played few shows at locations such as ABC No Rio and c-squat. No Commercial Value disbanded in 1993 when vocalist Olivia moved to the west coast of the united states.
