MOMMY.... WHEN I RECEIVED THE CALL THAT DAY, I DID NOT KNOW WHAT TO SAY. I ASKED IF YOU WOULD BE ALRIGHT, THEY WEREN'T SURE HOW LONG YOU COULD FIGHT. I DROPPED THE PHONE IN THE DRIVEWAY, I KNEW THEN IT WAS TIME TO PRAY. I PRAYED TO GOD TO MAKE YOU WELL, I FELT LIKE I HAD JUST ENTERED HELL. THE DRIVE TO TEMPLE FELT LIKE IT WOULD NEVER END, I JUST WANTED TO GET TO MY BEST FRIEND. WHEN WE ARRIVED YOU WERE ASLEEP, IT WAS FAITH I NEEDED TO KEEP. I HELD YOUR HAND AS TIGHT AS I COULD, AND TOLD YOU I LOVED YOU AS I ALWAYS WOULD. (TO BE CONTINUED....I LOVE YOU MOMMY, GOOD NIGHT, GOD BLESS YOU, I LOVE YOU)

I FINALLY FOUND MY DEFINITION OF A HERO, MY MOMMY! A WOMAN WHO WENT ON EACH DAY KNOWING HER ONLY CHANCE OF SURVIVAL WAS THE DEATH OF ANOTHER. SHE FOUGHT FOR THAT HOPE AND SHE DID HER PART. SHE WANTED NOTHING MORE THAN TO LIVE FOR THE LOVE AND DEVOTION TO HER CHILDREN, GRANDCHILDREN, AND ALL OF THE OTHERS WHOM SHE LOVED SO DEARLY. ALTHOUGH SHE LOST THAT FIGHT SHE CONTINUED TO STRUGGLE IN HOPES OF A MIRACLE, AS SHE ALWAYS DID. I LOVE YOU MOMMY AND YOU ARE SO BEAUTIFUL. I WILL MISS YOU EACH SECOND THAT I BREATHE AND I CANNOT WAIT TO BE WITH YOU AGAIN.
