That's right folks! It's been too long, but we're back with another "club burner" for ya'll!!! Society Ho's Parts 1 & 2 (on Dis-Joint Records ) is now available online, and will be in shops around the world, via Groove Distribution . The tracks can be previewed in full here on our Myspace page!!!
We are also happy to announce that our new 12" has been awarded the "Record of The Week" award by Piccadilly Records in London!!! They are a favorite of ours, so it's a honor. Here's what they had to say...
"The last Coppa 12" was an absolute smash round these parts, and although it's taken about two years, this one is well worth the weight. Done in their kinda reggae disco style, "Society Ho's" is a big sounding party dancefloor starter, tons of catchy percussion, irresistible reggae tinged groove and enough quirky nuance to keep you mind occupied. On the B-side "Society Ho's 2" is a slightly beatier edit, with lots of delayed percussion ala Idjuts and some big killer beats in the mid section. It'll be hard to stop people when this is on, perfect empty dancefloor filler."
So, go grab your copy, and in the meantime, checkout the sleeve and label artwork by Freddy!!!

Cornuts and Courvoisier !2"
The A side features the title track which, by the name alone, should immediately
place it on the "top shelf" of your record collection. It is
a heavily percussive disco edit cut with a nice Brazilian feel and a nasty
nasty bassline. A tried and tested dancefloor filler, this one is a must
for fans of the Idjut Boys and Chicken Lips.
The white label test press is getting heavy play from the likes of Quantic,
Mr. Scruff, Nickodemus and Thievery
Corporation to name a few.
Side B is a somewhat mellower, dub flavored ditty with nice Latin percussion
sprinkled throughout. One listen, and you will understand why this is
the perfect track to play if you happen to be spinning an outdoor party
in the Caribbean on a hot summer night with a fruity umbrella drink in
one hand and a nice, big spliff in the other. (Although, granted, it would
be tough to DJ with your hands full) .
