In the late 1980's, the world was introduced to Jaleesa, a Brooklyn bred lyrical prodigy, who is no doubt in a class by herself. Jaleesa not only raps, but sings, dances, and writes her own lyrics. Exposed to all kinds of music at a young age, Jaleesa was determined to become a superstar by the time she was 6. She began writing songs and performing in shows that showcased her talents and by the time she was 11, Jaleesa was rapping and writing rhymes.Born in the home of Biggie and Jay, this rap starlet has fine examples on how to represent. In fact, in 2004, Jaleesa's fans dubbed her "Lady Hova" declaring her the female equivalent of Jay-Z.
