Esselamu Alejkum! My name is Dino Smrkovic a.k.a. better known here as Sangy. I’m 21, born in southern Serbia, to be more specific: Sandzak – Prijepolje – the city - Brodarevo. All though I’m from Serbia, I grew up bouncing back and fourth living in various countries throughout Europe - stayed mainly in Denmark where I learned how to speak Danish. Now, I’ve settled back and live in my home country of Serbia.
I’m not interested in replicating famous rappers or idolizing them. Instead I’m determined to be at the top of my own game and to be idolized. Having been exposed to different languages and cultures I’ve taken that part of my life and me and incorporated it with my talent for writing music, my love of rap music, and my appreciation for diversity by collaborating with rap artists from Serbia to Cali-The Bay Area to be more specific. I’ve created something that might be called a “global rap†sound by not only mixing up my style ( R&B, Crunk Rap, and even Metal), but also the languages in my songs. I’m always interested in collaborating with other music artist regardless of your style or language.
Right now I’m working in a group called Metalik game. The groups made up of myself and Adis (from Melbourne Australia) - our sound is a blend of rap and rock in Serbian.
