Because the word of God says “whom the son has made free is free in deed.” Then that means that your thoughts are going to change, if you use to think in one way in your past life you cannot bring those thoughts into this new life. The new life is in Christ Jesus, the past is gone and is not remembered again as the word of God says in Isaiah 1:18. He made the heavens and the earth in which we live and now is by the spirit. The word of God says Romans 12:2a “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” Then if the word of God says to transform your mind then is to think differently.
